All that attended the five days of the Agricultural Design Conference July 28 thru Aug 1st will be reconvening Oct 23,2010 from 9am to 6pm with a three hour lunch break in between two 3 hour sessions. Agenda will be to define the next step in the process of moving forward with the development of a local agricultural system. Made up of a network of networks that will feed itself through a collaborative collective of for profit and non profit businesses in support of creating a local food supply, education and distribution system.
Maui Farmers Union met Aug. 23th. was another huge success!!! We are happy to see a consistent flow of community attending with farmer representation to grow this organization. Thanks to the community for empowering the ones who are growing their food.…….WAY TO GROW MAUI! MFU Mission-
