Jerry Brunetti - Back for his fifth year to the Maui Body and Soil conference we are fortunate to have him be a presenter again. A consummate communicator of the connection to food as medicine and farm as farmacy. Will speak to the collaborations of the various inhabitants in the human gut. Also a soil consultant will give recommendations to those signing up with soil analysis in early registration.
Theresa Vernon - Her first time presenting here she is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Expert on treating through "Hair Analysis" chronic fatigue syndrome along with metal toxicity to free up the ability for the body to uptake nutrients properly. Offering an early registration discount on hair analysis.

Dr. Paul Hepperly - Doctor Paul Reed Hepperly is a Fulbright Scholar, Rachel Carson Scientist and formerly the Director of Rodale Research and Senior Scientist until 2009. He is a world recognized expert in greenhouse gases and our food system and has lectured extensively around the World on the underestimated appreciation of Soil for managing Global Climate Change by positively influencing Greenhouse Gas concentrations. He will talk on diverse topics such as biochar, innovative compost methods, cover cropping, tillage reduction, and the energy requirements of our food system. He has over 35 years of success in agricultural research, management, education and information outreach. He worked from 1999 toi 2002 with organic ginger farmers on Big Island helping manage ginger bacterial wilt before taking residence in North America to present.
Michael Martin Melendrez - His first time presenting here. Owner of Soil Secrets, Michael coined the term soil food web in the seventies an expert on Humus building and microbial inoculation and will speak to what we can do to grow our soils to prepare for growing plants. |

Cancelation Policy:
Conference will not be cancelled due to weather, excluding natural disasters. 24 hours notice is required for conference cancellations. In the event of cancelation due to unforseen circumstances, tickets will be refunded, Your registration can be transferred to someone else's name if you cannot attend. Maui Aloha Aina Association is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of substitution, alteration, postponement, or cancellation of an event due to causes beyond its control including without limitation, acts of God, natural disasters.
Refund Policy:
24 hours notice before the conference is required for cancellations. Tickets will be refunded in full, less 10% handling fee.
